When buying a hat most men will first consider whether the prospective headgear matches their wardrobe. Next, they'll check it rests comfortably on the head. Most men won’t ask themselves if they have the face for it, but there are some tips that can help you find what really suits you.
Short & full
Balance a round face with a hat that has a good, high crown and a decent brim. That makes it look as though give the appearance of an elongated face and add height. No tilting! That only shortens the face.
Round
It is important thing to consider is a narrow band. That gives the illusion of an even higher crown, and makes the hat appear like it has more length.
Square
Balance out this face shape with a more angular hat. Avoid tall rounded crowns or wide crowns and brims, which will accentuate the roundness of your face.
Narrow
Find a hat that will shorten your face. Go for something with a moderate length, oh and it is fine to tilt! The goal is to not extend your face shape.
